The HAWK Advanced Hypothermia Management Set is designed to actively and passively treat hypothermia caused by traumatic injury or environmental factors. The lightweight APLS Life Guard litter is easily portable and features a Mylar lining that retains body heat and an absorbent pad to wick away fluid from the patient. The HAWK Warming Grid activates in minutes and is fully adjustable to maintain an ideal temperature. Outside of a trauma patient, this combination could function well inside a vehicle kit as a survival tool in the cold.
