The T.REX Titan is a level 2 holster that builds off the Legacy of our Ragnarok. Using the same tough .125” Kydex and universal mounting hole pattern, we added a robust locking mechanism that allows for a level of security that a passive Kydex holster can’t provide on it's own. With the Titan, you get the security of an active retention lock and the precision fit of a custom molded Kydex holster. This is not just a rattly bucket holster with a locking mechanism.
Aside from the superior fit and durability, Titan is fast and easy to use. The release button is large and ergonomically placed, making the holster quick and consistent even with minimal training. The retention lock is also built to be bind-resistant, greatly reducing the penalty for an improper draw or poor timing.

FEATURES
Pairing passive and active retention allows the Titan to achieve the fit of a kydex holster with the security of an active retention holster.
The large release button provides a consistent, repeatable draw, similar to popular aftermarket solutions for other retention holsters.
Precision-formed Kydex lower ensures the best fit possible for your specific weapon/light.
Adjustable passive retention provides as little or as much resistance as you desire, no rattling holsters or loose bucket feel.
User-serviceable design allows easy replacement of internals.
The bind-resistant locking mechanism reduces the penalty for poor timing and an imperfect draw, enabling smooth operation in almost any scenario.
Removable hood protects the optics from weather and debris. Some optics allow reholstering even when the hood is closed.
The modular hole pattern accommodates a wide variety of mounting options.
Accommodates most slide-mounted optics, threaded barrels, compensators, and suppressor sights under .600"
Made from precision-formed .125" Kydex and injection molded Nylon 6/6.
Fail-open design ensures the user can still draw the weapon should the locking mechanism fail. If failure does occur, the holster maintains passive retention, similar to a Ragnarok.
Compensator Fitment Note
The Titan's open muzzle end allows for longer slides and compensators. However, compensators with large ports that extend across the full width of the slide have a chance to catch on the active retention mechanism. Test your setup carefully to ensure there is no interference.

FAQ
What optics fit in the Titan?
The optic shell on the Titan is sized to accept almost all red dots available on the market, even larger options like the SRO w/ Jagerwerks BROS, Acro P2, Holsun 507Comp, and the Vortex Defender XL.
The only thing we’ve found that doesn’t fit is a T1/T2 on a Unity Atom slide; however, you can remove the optic cover and heavily modify the optic shell and make it work.
As a general rule, anything under 1.4” wide and under 1.4” above the top of the slide (on a common Glock setup) is good to go.
What is an active retention holster?
Active retention holsters provide a positive lock to keep the gun in the holster, requiring the user to defeat a mechanism like a button, lever, or hood to be able to draw the weapon.
Passive retention relies on the interface between the holster body and the gun/light to maintain the weapon in the holster. This fit is typically adjustable with screws located around the holster, and is specific to the gun/light combo being used. Unlike active retention, there are no mechanisms to overcome, only the friction of the holster itself. Our Raganarok is a classic example of a passive holster.
Why combine active and passive?
Combining active and passive retention allows the Titan to have the security of an active retention holster, with the precision fit of a kydex holster. No more rattling bucket holsters that still require modification to run different length handguns (G19, G17, G34,etc)

Very firm lockup on pistol with zero rattle. Easy to disengage with correctly applied force to the button but not so easy that I could see it actuating unintentionally. I use this on a qls fork attached to my night stand. This offers me more peace of mind that someone (a toddler for instance) couldn’t easily remove this pistol from the holster if every other preventative measure had failed. I just wish they offered compatibility with more models of pistol.

Good design, the only gripes I have is the optic guard comes off too easy. Find it laying in my seat every time I get out of my unit.

Greetings from Chile!
I recently purchased the T.REX Arms TITAN for my Glock 45 Gen 5, configured for the Streamlight TLR-1 HL, and I couldn’t be happier with the overall quality and craftsmanship.
I’m actually running a Fenix GL19R (V1), which is slightly narrower and shorter than the TLR-1 HL. Despite this difference, my Glock fits the holster remarkably well.
The active retention mechanism engages positively, and the passive retention provides a secure fit against the slide. There is a slight amount of vertical play due to the dimensional differences between the two lights, but overall, I’m very pleased with how the setup fits. Of course, this is my personal experience with a non-standard light configuration, not an officially supported compatibility claim.
The Kydex molding, hardware, finish, and overall construction are excellent. Everything feels solid, thoughtfully designed, and built to last.
I also want to give a special shout-out to Josh S. and the T.REX Arms team. They went above and beyond to expedite production and shipping so my holster could make it to the US before my family’s return trip to Chile. Outstanding customer service!
As a firearms enthusiast living thousands of miles away from Tennessee, owning a piece of American-made gear like this is something I genuinely appreciate.

Keep up the great work, T.REX Arms!

I love this holster it works great, retention is great and the spot for the optic if big enough for all the optics I have.
Bought the new duty holster for my Springfield Echelon. The holster works well and locks my gun in. No issues as of this post.

It's great! It does the thing that is says it does.
I have Safariland ALS / QLS holsters and this is one of the unique situations where I think it can be said that the Titan is "just as gud".
Suggestion for future iterations is to make a optic hood that is more permanently attached. I haven't lost it yet but makes me mildly anxious that it doesn't take much for it to abscond from me.
Also... I pray for peace and reconciliation for the Botkin family and all the workers. Seems like a far off thing right now but I pray the LORD will bring it about someday!

Pro:
- The retention is very good once the tension is adjusted.
- The bottom is hollowed out so you don't have worry about casings jamming it
- Fits full size 4.5F as well so this is one size fits all.
Cons:
- The hood retention is weak and flops around a lot, it got so annoying that I took it off and ran without it.
- Exposed magazine release bottom, duty holsters shouldn't do that at all.

I have been using this holster on duty for a few months now. It is a good fit for the pistol with a fast draw. The hood is removeable (as are the Safariland hoods). This is exceptional for a Detective or Admin, still working through testing it's durability for Patrol. It's great to see companies creating competition among duty-level holsters.

Rugged, great retention, and half the price of competitive alternatives. Been running this with a full size M&P 2.0 + EPS + TLR-7 HL-X. Used a True North RHPP with a Tek Lok for the belt interface, and mounted the Titan with a Tek Mount and a Shaw Concepts Sidekick V2. Seriously a solid setup that disappears on my hip.
It's not always easy to find the tactical gear market's inflection point where value per dollar is optimized, but I think this should set a new standard. Thank you for continuing to support the civilian 2A market. Keep innovating and iterating.

Best bang for your buck active retention holster in my opinion. Keeping with Trex tradition, it’s very built. Retention device button is well placed for me. I use it for training and it does exactly what I need it to do. Great customer service as always and quick turnaround. My only gripe is the hood. It seems to rest in partially open/closed position but doesn’t hinder the draw. Definitely would recommend
