T.REX ARMS Customer Review Policy
We publish customer reviews to help people make good buying decisions. We want honest feedback: what works, what doesn't, what you like, what you would change, etc. We don't hide negative reviews.
Who Can Leave a Review
Anyone who's bought and used a T.REX ARMS product can leave a review for that product. One review per product per customer (you can update it later – the new review replaces the older one). We will verify your purchase before publishing.
If you work for us, own part of the company, or are an immediate family member of someone here, you're welcome to leave a review, but you have to say so in the review itself. No anonymous insider reviews.
Incentives
If we run a promotion that rewards you for leaving a review (such as a discount code or store credit), it's offered no matter what you write. We'll never tie it to a positive rating.
Any review that was incentivized will receive a label letting you know that was the case.
What We May Take Down
We use the same rules for every review regardless of star rating. A review may be removed or rejected if it:
- Isn't from someone who actually bought and used the product
- Isn't about the product or your experience (if you have an issue with your order, please email us at [email protected] — we'll be happy to help you out)
- Is about a different product than the one on the page
- Contains profanity, slurs, threats, harassment, or someone's personal information
- Is spam, advertising, or links out to other stores
- Is unlawful, defamatory, or rips off someone else's content
- Describes using the product to do something illegal
- Looks fake – AI written, bot-submitted, duplicate, or from someone with no purchase on file
We won't take a review down because it's negative or critical. The whole point of having reviews is letting everyone see the pros and cons of a product. If we reject a review, we will notify you via email and let you resubmit a new or edited version.
What We May Edit
Sometimes a review is fine, but may contain words or content that we can't publish, such as profanity, somebody's phone number, a customer service rep's last name, etc. In those cases, we may redact the offending portion (you'll see it as [redacted] or ****) rather than rejecting the whole review. We'll only do this if it doesn't change what the reviewer meant or how they felt about the product. We don't soften criticism, change star ratings, or rewrite anyone's words.
If a review can't be salvaged with a small redaction, we'll reject it, notify you, and let you resubmit a new or edited version.
How Moderation Works
Every review goes through the same review process. If we reject yours, we'll send you an email, tell you why, and let you resubmit a new or edited review.
We don't, nor will we ever, use legal threats to make people take down honest reviews.
Questions, Reports, Appeals
Email [email protected] to report a suspicious review or to appeal the removal or rejection of a review.
