The Blank Slate
Titan and Ragnarok Holsters come as what we call a “Blank Slate” with no attachments, so the end-user can configure the holster to their needs without purchasing unneeded attachments.
The Titan/Ragnarok hole pattern works with a variety of attachment systems, including Safariland, Blackhawk, Blade-Tech, G-Code, Dara, and more.
If you don't already have an attachment method, you can purchase one of the attachments listed above when you buy your holster, and we'll install it for you, so your holster is ready to go when you get it.
T.REX LINK + Thigh Strap
Before we dive into our recommended setup, let's introduce you to two of the main components: the LINK and our Thigh Strap.
T.REX LINK
The LINK is our own belt mounting solution. It features an adjustable one-wrap keeper to help keep it in place on smaller belts and a universal hole pattern optimized for our Ragnarok, while maintaining compatibility with many different holsters and attachments, including those from Safariland, Blackhawk, Alien Gear, Dara, and more. The LINK offers +/- 15 degrees of cant with our hole pattern, and fits belts up to 2”.
T.REX Thigh Strap
A Thigh Strap can make a big difference in stabilizing a holster on most drop-style belt loops. By securing the holster setup to your leg, the thigh strap prevents the holster from pulling away when drawing your weapon.
When installed, this runs through the lower bolt of a belt mount, like our LINK, making it flush with the bottom of the mount. With the pivot point being a riveted hole, it makes for a more flexible and comfortable design and doesn't restrict movement or dig into your inner thigh.
The T.REX Setup
The following is our go-to setup. This works well for 99% of belt setups, so if you’re unsure of what you need and you have a pretty standard belt setup like our Speed Belt or Orion Belt, this is a great choice.
Non-QLS Setup
The simplest version of our setup contains two pieces: the T.REX LINK and T.REX Thigh Strap. Because it forgoes the use of QLS, it sits closer to your body and is a little more budget-friendly. We always recommend thigh straps for the extra stability, but some competition rules or departments may not allow them.
Parts Needed
- 1x Titan or Ragnarok Holster
- 1x T.REX LINK
- 1x T.REX Thigh Strap
QLS Setup
This is our true go-to. Because we’re always switching around guns and holsters, the QLS system is a no-brainer.
If you have multiple guns and holsters, we highly recommend adding this to your setup. Outside of its flexibility, the QLS also adds more space between you and the gun, making it great for clearing plate carriers and large chest rigs.
Parts Needed
- 1x Titan or Ragnarok Holster
- 1x T.REX LINK
- 1x T.REX Thigh Strap
- 1x Safariland QLS Fork
- 1x Safariland QLS Receiver Plate
The QLS is also massively convenient if you don’t want your holster permanently attached to your kit, whether you take it off to do admin tasks around the range, when you get in vehicles, or whatever it may be that you don’t want or need a gun on your hip, but you don’t want to ditch the whole belt.
Safariland CUBL2 Mid-Ride
The CUBL2 Mid-Ride is Safariland's belt mount. It offers adjustable cant and a stronger construction than its predecessor (CUBL) with larger, flatter contours to reduce hot spots. The CUBL2 fits belts up to 2” and offers approximately 15 degrees of cant in either direction.
Like our LINK, the CUBL2 can be used with or without our Thigh Strap or the QLS System.
Parts Needed
- 1x Titan or Ragnarok Holster
- 1x Safariland CUBL2 Mid-Ride
- 1x T.REX Thigh Strap
- 1x Safariland QLS Fork
- 1x Safariland QLS Receiver Plate
True North Concepts Rigid Holster Platform
The True North Concepts RHP is a rigid holster mounting solution made from aluminum, providing an extremely stable platform. The standard RHP features three mounting positions in .525” increments, and a longer overall length, whereas the Patrol model (RHPP) only offers one mounting position.
Both models accept belts up to 2.25” wide and offer 15 degrees of cant in either direction. Like the LINK and CUBL, the RHP and RHPP can also be used with the Safariland QLS system.
Parts Needed
- 1x Titan or Ragnarok Holster
- 1x True North RHP or RHPP
- 1x T.REX Thigh Strap
- 1x Safariland QLS Fork
- 1x Safariland QLS Receiver Plate
Safariland High-Ride Belt Slide
If you want to run your OWB holster high on the belt, this is a great option. The Safariland Hi-Ride Belt Slide rides 1″ higher than most standard belt loops. It is designed for the Safariland 3-hole pattern, so it will work with our Titan and Ragnarok series of holsters. It is available for both 1.5” and 1.75” belts.
A QLS Plate can also be attached to the Safariland Hi-Ride if you want to run a Titan/Ragnarok + QLS setup.
Parts Needed
Safariland Paddle
The Safariland Paddle is an effective attachment for quickly throwing on an OWB holster. It features the standard Safariland 3-hole pattern, so it is compatible with our Titan and Ragnarok series of holsters.
A QLS Plate can also be attached to the Safariland Paddle if you want to run a Ragnarok + QLS Fork setup.
Parts Needed
- 1x Titan or Ragnarok Holster
- 1x Safariland Paddle
