Great tactical holster for my Shadow Systems DR920L. Have struggled to find a holster that fits my pistol while protecting the optic and supporting a light. Ordered it with QLS fork and am very pleased. Shipping was amazingly fast.
The Titan is a level 2 holster that builds off the Legacy of our Ragnarok. Using the same tough .125” Kydex and universal mounting hole pattern, we added a robust locking mechanism that allows for a level of security that a passive Kydex holster can’t provide on it's own. With the Titan, you get the security of an active retention lock and the precision fit of a custom molded Kydex holster. This is not just a rattly bucket holster with a locking mechanism.
Aside from the superior fit and durability, Titan is fast and easy to use. The release button is large and ergonomically placed, making the holster quick and consistent even with minimal training. The retention lock is also built to be bind-resistant, greatly reducing the penalty for an improper draw or poor timing.
FEATURES
The Titan's open muzzle end allows for longer slides and compensators. However, compensators with large ports that extend across the full width of the slide have a chance to catch on the active retention mechanism. Test your setup carefully to ensure there is no interference.
Made in the USA by T.REX ARMS.
See the extensive testing that we put the Titan through during development in the Titan Testing Documents.
The optic shell on the Titan is sized to accept almost all red dots available on the market, even larger options like the SRO w/ Jagerwerks BROS, Acro P2, Holsun 507Comp, and the Vortex Defender XL.
The only thing we’ve found that doesn’t fit is a T1/T2 on a Unity Atom slide; however, you can remove the optic cover and heavily modify the optic shell and make it work.
As a general rule, anything under 1.4” wide and under 1.4” above the top of the slide (on a common Glock setup) is good to go.
Active retention holsters provide a positive lock to keep the gun in the holster, requiring the user to defeat a mechanism like a button, lever, or hood to be able to draw the weapon.

Overall I don't hate it. It is a really good value when compared to a safariland. I have my holster set up for a glock 17 gen 5 with a x300 and a dot on it. It protects the trigger better than my light bearing safariland does and the draw/holstering feels way better. The negative about this is the hood on it to protect your optic feels kind of like an after thought. It very loosely snaps in and out of position. This is fine for casual use. I really hate how if that hood comes up accidentally which is really easy to do it can prevent you from holstering your gun until you move it back out the way. Yes I know you can remove it by just snapping it off however I really expected it to function better than it does. Overall this is still about half the price of what a safariland would be that does not have this issue. I know this holster just came out but if they ever updated just the hood protecting the optic this thing really would be perfect.

This has turned out to be a great holster! The Glock slides in just right, sits and feels securely, and the thumb release is perfect! I'm going to order another for a Glock w/ a weapon light, I'll report back once I get to test that one too. Nice job TRex, especially on the price! Don't think twice about ordering this one! Photos are of G19.6 COA.

The Titan fits an excellent niche in the market. It’s durable and well thought out. The thumb lever is very well shaped and positioned. No need to modify it. The holster is also cheaper than much of the competition. The fact that the holster is formed to your particular model of firearm helps keep the footprint streamlined and also has a quality feel when holstering. It also prevents the gun from rattling around. The downside to the form fit is that you are less likely to be able to use it for other guns. The only negative I’ve seen so far is that the optics hood is too easy to unintentionally flip forward when moving around. I just took it off so it wouldn’t be in the way. Overall, this is an excellent retention holster.

The “oversized” thumb release is excellent. I can’t imagine any aftermarket upgrade that could be better. The slightly “down” movement on the release is at the perfect angle. I immediately found it very intuitive. It is LIGHT. The Safariland feels like a brick compared to it. I’m going to buy another one.
