These are the helmet mounts for your OTTO headphones so these are called the OTTO NoizeBarrier Helmet Mount Kit if you have some range SA's or maybe some com capable OTTO headphones and you want to mount them to an Ops-Core Helmet this is what you need to do so now these are very simple they're very easy to get on the helmet. They're very easy to attach to the headphones so we're just gonna go over the features real quick demonstrate how to put them on and you guys should be good to go. Now with these they have a pretty a very secure locking mechanism I'll demonstrate on the helmet as well but all you do is push them down they'll clip in place and when you want them to release you have to pinch them and then they pop out. So they're not like the Peltor's where you clip them on and just outward force will de-clip them these are very very secure also there's a little battery compartment here for our spare AAA battery this is kind of difficult to get to once everything's mounted on the helmet so if you're into that that is a solution.

Thing we're gonna do is we're gonna mount these onto the headphones themselves and then we'll mount everything to the helmet. You have your range SA's first thing you do is gonna take off your headband and then from here these just pop off so it's just a little bit of a pull a little bit of a twist and they come right off just like so now there's two ways to do this we're gonna attach these directly to the headphones but you can route the headphones through the helmet first that's a little bit easier but I'm going to demonstrate the more difficult way. Because that's just how I am as a person when you mount these on these go on a lot more snug than your headband so they are a little bit they are easy to get on but a little bit more difficult to get off so first thing you want to do is just ensure that your battery compartment is facing up not into the the meatier portion of the headphone or they are not going to work but they clip in nice audible click so easy it gave me and can do it.

So now I'm gonna take my my headphones and I'm gonna route the cable on the inside of the home as best I can and when I mount these I like to make sure that this portion of the cable goes towards the back of my head. The reason for that is if I am using comm capable OTTO's the microphone goes the other way so it just keeps a little bit consistent now if you can mount on the other way there is no left or right headphone because it's just picking up noise in its directional so if you do do it the other way not the end of the world it just may look a little weird.

The way I'm gonna do that route these through is I'm just going to put the headphones through the chin strap mechanism here just like so now the cable is gonna be on the inside of the helmet as you can see with the the helmet mount kit it still fits through so that's of the thing I wanted to demonstrate. The coolest thing about these mount kits is that this spins so what that means is you can orientate these anywhere you want on the rail I can mount them up here in a more traditional place or I can mount them in the back kind of like Ops-Core so if wanted to mount traditional fully just slide it on you get nice audible clicks.

So it's nice and secure I like to go on the back just to leave the rail open here so I can put more gadgets on my helmet and since this rotates this stays nice and orientated properly so on the other side as you can see I have my helmet light here so I can't use that portion I can just slide this guy on and you're good to go now something I do recommend and this is with all helmet mounting solutions that for the Ops-Core that just kind of slide on is putting something on the rails that prevent these from accidentally sliding off now it does take a little bit of force to get these off I have experienced some of these being more loose on other helmets comparatively to this one I don't know if that's a tolerance thing with the Otto mounts or the helmet itself I think it's the helmet because I only have two sets of these and I've used them on multiple helmets so I think it's more on the Ops-Core side of things but you can do a zip tie through the holes on the rails and that will just create like a stop so this thing can't slide on and off and I just I recommend doing that.

From here you get to put this guy on just make sure both of these are clipped out I just like to make sure my headphones are orientated straight and then just clip it on. These guys on and the cool thing is when these are on if these feel a little off I can just kind of spin them however I want so if you have a smaller face like me you can literally spin these basically like almost to this so you get a little bit more room for your stock on your gun if that's an issue for you if you have proper stock placement you shouldn't have that sort of issue but these also can slide up and down on the on the helmet I can pull them all the way down if I need to or all the way up.

These are so tight they've create so much force it increases the noise reduction rating of the headphones because it just covers more of your head and more of that pressure if you didn't know noise pressure enters in not this through your ear canals but around your ears through your eyes through your nostrils so the more that these helmets can cover and keep tight the better your hearing protection is going to be. Now to take these off all you do is you're just gonna pinch the arms you'll hear them clip and they'll pop out and you're good to go make sure the headphones are turned off now.

If you are storing your helmet with these headphones I highly recommend clipping them in and keeping them on the inside of your helmet do not rotate these headphones onto the helmet and then clip them down because these are so strong. This is actually gonna peel the rail it's gonna bend it it could even damage something but at the least what it's gonna do it's gonna put undue stress on your on your gel cups or your foam cups whatever you got on your headphones.

This is the Otto NoizeBarrier Helmet Mount Kit if you guys have any questions about them their compatibility with other headphones how to put them on a helmet anything at all just go ahead and shoot us an email at [email protected]
