Overview
In our opinion, hybrid holsters always fell a little bit short when looking at the best way to carry a full-size, fully capable handgun. Though they are very comfortable, they tend to make a few compromises we're not fans of. So, we set out to make the best hybrid-style holster to address those shortcomings. Here are a few things we wanted this holster to be:

Our T.REX Ironside Hybrid Holster design takes the superior functionality of a Kydex holster and combines it with an incredibly comfortable pad to give folks who want to carry inside-the-waistband at 4 o'clock a safe, high-quality hybrid-style holster option. The retention of the full Kydex shell allows you to run a weapon light, and it also means there is no possibility of the holster collapsing and accidentally snagging the trigger when you re-holster. (Both of these are problems other hybrid holsters can have.) And the soft, breathable, water-resistant Alcantara backer stays warm in the winter and cool in the summer, unlike leather and other leather-like materials.
Carrying a full-sized duty handgun should be for everyone. We hope this holster helps accomplish that.

Specs
- Optimized for inside-the-waistband 4 o’clock carry.
- Made from precision-formed .093" Kydex.
- Fits suppressor height iron sights up to 0.5" tall
- Hybrid Backer is constructed from Alcantara and Closed-Cell PE foam.
- Alcantara is a strong, low-maintenance material that is water and stain-resistant while providing a high-grip surface that is soft and breathable. Unlike leather or similar materials, Alcantara stays warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
- Tuckable clips allow for adjustable cant from +5 to +20 degrees.
- 6" clip spacing.
Made in the USA by T.REX ARMS. Backer is manufactured in the USA using US and Italian materials.

I’ve gotten a few holsters over the years, always solid quality, and the little improvements that make a noticeable difference are very much appreciated. For example, changing some of nuts and bolts, literally, that makes it much easier to make adjustments to positioning.

Easily the most comfortable holster I’ve purchased. And I have a metric ton of holsters. I ended up buying multiple over the course of 3 months. Worth it. I carry every day. At least now I do. My only “complaints”: 1. I wish there was just a bit more can’t. My body profile requires nearly 45 degrees to get anything to sit right and stop printing. I ended up dropping the smallest available DCC clip on the front side to get it to work for me. But any normal well adjusted non-weirdo probably won’t have that problem. 2. I’d love a little extra height on the beaver tail section. My P365 XMacro has the standard grip module with a slight sharpness that rubs my chonk in all the wrong ways and a little extra there would solve it. But ya I could also lose weight so that’s trivial. Thanks for making a stellar product!

Decent holster and comfortable to wear, but the lack of a claw of any kind does make my Hellcat Pro print more than a holster I bought from Black Arch (Gradient hybrid IWB). I’ll be sticking with the Black Arch.

I bought thus holster thinking I could not comfortably where a appendix carrying after trying it out for a few weeks I found that I works much better with a button up or jacket other then that I love it and there other holsters

Great holster one of my favorites

This is a well made, high quality holster. The backing material is quite comfortable and causes less sweating than other materials, including neoprene. My only gripe is that my pistol grip is aggressively stippled, and it would have been nice to have the backer cover the area where the grip rubs against my skin as well, but that could also interfere with drawing to some degree. All in all, I’m very pleased with the holster and T Rex customer service as well.

I have tried many holsters and this one is by far the best made and most comfortable holster I have ever used. You can wear it all day long and you will forget it is in your waistband because it is so comfortable. Quality product!
