When building out a plate carrier you may consider attaching a larger chest rig to serve as a more robust placard that can carry extra mags, medical, tools, and a comms device. When using larger chest rigs for this purpose, you’ll end up with quite a bit of slop and flop on the sides of the rig. That’s where this comes into play. Sold as a pair, they’ll attach to the two buckles on each side of a chest rig and converge to a single buckle that can attach to a single back strap that can then run under/through the rear plate bag of your carrier.
