The Forward Controls CSR (Compact Sectional Rods) is an excellent tool to keep on hand for clearing obstructions or stuck cases. FCD drew inspiration from the old USGI M16 cleaning rods and made major improvements. The CSR was shortened for easier carry and storage, and the folding T-handle was removed to reduce bulk. These rods are made of 17-4 stainless steel for a lifetime of use.

• 18 – 20″: 1 handle, 3 standard length rods, 2 short rods, 1 ram plug and 1 jag

• Precision-machined 17-4 stainless steel, with a machined brass jag
• Bead blasted matte finish
• Max 4.8″ length rods
• More portable and shorter than USGI rods
• Note that to reduce bulk, the handle design does not use a folding T handle
• Included elastic band holds rods tightly for rattle-proof storage
• The 10.5 – 12.5″, and 14.5 – 16″ kits will fit in Vltor and SOPMOD storage compartments
• Note these rods are threaded 8-32 so they are incompatible with USGI 8-36 cleaning rods attachments, chamber brush, jag, and bore brush
