Safariland's ALS and GLS retention systems are built for duty and range use where a secure, repeatable draw matters. ALS (Automatic Locking System) locks the weapon in place on holstering and releases with a single thumb paddle, while GLS (Grip Locking System) engages when you establish a full firing grip — no separate release motion required.
