Ironside Carriers Overview

If you are running an Ironside outside-the-waistband holster, probably at three or four o'clock under a jacket, you may want Ironside magazine carriers for extra reloads, malfunction drills, and more. We have a bunch of them, but let me start with the pistol mag carrier.

Ironside Pistol Mag Carrier

Like all of the other Ironside products and a lot of other T.REX ARMS equipment, the pistol mag carrier has our stainless steel hardware and our sturdy 0.093-inch Kydex, which is sturdier than average. We also have a lot of adjustability on these. The four screws let you adjust the retention and the tightness of the carrier on the mags — front and back, top and bottom — so you can get it exactly how you want it. You can also choose different sizes of belt loops in case you have different sizes of belts.

Rifle Mag Carrier for Concealed Carry

It doesn't just stop with pistol mag carriers. If you want to carry full-size STANAG rifle mags — 30 rounds of 5.56 or .300 Blackout — underneath your jacket, we have a mag carrier for that. It has exactly the same specs, just some extra options.

Cuff Carrier

We also have a cuff carrier, which is used by a lot of different folks and is compatible with a number of different cuffs. If you happen to use the cuffs with the chain, there's a little magnet at the bottom that captures the chain so it's quiet and doesn't rattle.

Tourniquet Carrier

A tourniquet carrier comes in handy, too. It has an elastic restraining band over the top. This is partly so you don't lose your tourniquet, but also so that it covers the Velcro and keeps it from snagging on your shirt, your jacket, or anything else you're concealing it under.

Build a Low-Profile Setup With the Connecting Device

You can also use our connecting device to connect a bunch of these different carriers together. You can build exactly the setup that you want on your belt, in the lowest possible profile, so that you have exactly the tools you want at your disposal. And if it occurs to you that you might want to build a giant Batman-style utility belt, go for it.

Convert the Pistol Carrier to Inside-the-Waistband With the Hybrid Backer

If you'll recall, the Ironside outside-the-waistband holster is convertible to inside-the-waistband with the optional backer. There's one of those available for the Ironside pistol mag carrier as well.

It's the exact same Alcantara-and-foam hybrid, so it's soft, squishy, and resilient, and it's waterproof so you can wash it. It also lets you run the carrier with tuckable clips — either our classic plastic clips or the lower-profile metal clips. Again, you have the exact same control, sturdiness, and adjustability as when you run the carrier with the regular belt clip.

Questions About Compatibility

Amongst all of these options, there are all kinds of setups you can build out. If you have questions about specific compatibilities, don't hesitate to ask our customer service team at [email protected].
