The Jacked Rabbit Trainer Plate Set is a set of plates designed specifically to weigh down your plate carriers. So this is not like the other plates that we sell on the website, as in these are not rated two stop bullets. So I wanna make that very clear. This is not a set of body armor. This is a set of trainer plates for the intended purpose of solely just making your plate carrier heavy.
Now the primary purpose and intent for the design of the Jacked Rabbit plates was intended for use in The Tactical Games. So in The Tactical Games, if you're a male athlete, you need to have a 15 pound plate carrier to compete. And if you're a female athlete, you need a 12 pound plate carrier. Hence the two different weights that we have here. Now you don't have to compete in The Tactical Games to own a set of these. These are a great set of plates for training in the gym. If you're doing weighted vest type things, or if you are going to the range and you just want to have a weighted vest on when you're doing, you know, some sort of interval type training, whether you're just trying to induce a high heart rate into your shooting, to just test your shooting accountability while in an address. This is a great set of plates for that application as well. Like I said, it doesn't need to be, these aren't just for competing in The Tactical Games.
Now this is a very simple product. These are plates, like I said, that are just weighted down, but they are very flexible. So this is one of the benefits to this plate comparatively to something like steel plates, or just wearing your body armor if you're looking to just wear a weighted vest. These are much more comfortable. So these are filled with steel shots. So if you have a magnet, it will stick to it. And like I said, just the flexibility of this makes these plates very comfortable. Now, as you can see by the sizing and the shape of these, this is not a traditional SAPI cut or other type of body armor cut. This is kind of unique to this plate specifically.
Now these are the most common weighted plates in the sport of The Tactical Games. And they're becoming very common outside of the sport as well for people that are wearing weighted vests for various different applications. And they were actually designed around the AC1, which is pretty cool. So the owner of the company designed these to fit in his small AC1 to fit very snug, but they also work very well in mediums. And if you are someone who has a large plate here, they work just fine in those as well. They're just gonna move around a little bit. But given the fact that these are just a weighted plate, the perfect fitment doesn't matter all that much. Now, before we get into putting these into the different size of the plate carriers and going over some of the plate carriers I have used these in, let's just talk about what comes in the package.
So, now in the box, once you guys get a set of these, they're gonna come as a pair and they're just gonna come in this plastic bag. And besides the plates themselves in the bag, you're just gonna get a card and on the card, it's going to just remind you which side faces your body and which side faces outward when you put these into the plate carriers. The rounded side of the plates are gonna go towards your body and this just helps with ventilation. But if you do wear the flat side towards your body, I'll be honest, you're probably not gonna notice the difference in the plate carrier, but just to understand that these were designed to be worn towards the body. So like I said, the 15 pound set is designed for male athletes. Now you're gonna notice that the 15 pound set is only seven pounds per plate. That is because seven pounds plus seven pounds is 14 plus a plate carrier, which is about one pound, will bring you right to that 15 pound requirement.
Now the female athletes are going to need the five and a half pound plate. So five and a half plus five and a half is 11 plus your one pound plate carrier. There you go, that's 12 pounds, super hard math. And you're gonna notice that these look very, very similar. However, you're just gonna notice that the stitching on the rounded side is a little bit different just because of the cells for the steel shot a little bit smaller, but the size of the plates are exactly the same. So whether you're a male or a female, small plate carrier, these will fit in or medium works just fine as well.
Let's go ahead and throw these guys into a plate carrier. So what I have here is a small AC1.5. So like I said earlier, these were designed originally for the small size AC1, but they do fit in other plate carriers, obviously. But in the small AC1.5, make sure that the round side is facing towards the body. You're gonna notice that they slide in very nicely, comparatively to normal body armor. Nice and smooth, just like that. And you guys can tell these guys look just about, they're just about a perfect fitment in this plate bag. Now there is a little bit of slop, but that's totally okay. These are very small plates, comparatively to traditional body armor, but they do fit in other size plate carriers, which I'm about to demonstrate.
What we have here is a medium AC0. I will say, if you're gonna buy plate carriers specifically for these plates, I do recommend just getting a small, just because the amount of room that's in the plate bag is gonna be obviously a lot less with a small plate carrier versus larger sizes, obviously. But I actually use this medium plate carrier because, well, that's the size I am for normal size plates. And these work just fine in those as well. But what I like about the medium, is when I put these guys in, you're gonna notice there's not much of a difference when it comes down to how much slop is in the bag. Obviously there's gonna be a little bit of slop just because of the flexibility of the plates themselves, but I can add a plate backer to them. So what I have here is a prototype FC1 (Fitness Carrier 1), which is sized to be medium-sized plates. It's a little bit smaller than the medium-sized plates.
But in here I have both the Jacked Rabbit plates and a Plate Backer, which I find to be a little bit more comfortable. It brings a little bit of rigidity to the plate bag. You guys can tell how flexible these plates are. I just want a little bit more rigidity. And also the standoff that the plate backer produces, with heat flow and just a little bit better of air flow between my body and the plate carrier. So this is exactly how I have them put into my plate carrier. As you guys see, this is an old Plate Backer, but it is the exact same size as the Plate Backer. And you guys can tell it's almost basically the same size shape. So if I take this guy, put it into the medium AC0 that we have here. Fits quite nicely.
And a lot of that slack is now removed. And like I said, in my opinion, from my experiences, I think the Plate Backer just gives a little bit better air flow. It keeps me a little bit cooler when I'm wearing these plates. Now I've been using these plates for over a year now, competing in The Tactical Games, competed in multiple regional matches, a national championship, and also training almost every week wearing these guys. And I don't know if you guys can tell, but these still look brand new. I haven't changed the set of plates themselves. I've thrown these around. I am not nice to this plate carrier whatsoever. And these have held up very, very well.
If you guys still have a legacy AC1 and you're looking to use your Jacked Rabbit Plates in this guy, that's totally okay. Like I mentioned, these plates were designed originally for the AC1. Here's the plate carrier that I used last season in The Tactical Games for about half the season. It's a medium AC1. Obviously I have access to a size small, but like I mentioned, I just prefer to use the medium. So this guy's gonna fit in here quite nicely, just like they would with the other plates or the other plate carriers, even with the Plate Backer. And as you guys can tell, there's very minimal slop in a medium sized AC1.
Now, like I said, probably the third time now, these guys were designed to be optimized in a small AC1. That is because in the sport of The Tactical Games, we want our kit to be as small as possible. So if you get a plate carrier specifically for these plates, like I said, highly recommend just going with a small. But they work in mediums. If you already have a large size plate carrier, like you already bought your AC0 or your AC1.5, and you just wanna swap to these plates when you're competing in the sport, or you just want to swap to these plates when you're just trying to do a weighted run or something like that, even a size large plate carrier is gonna work just fine, just understand the bag or the plates in the bag are gonna move around just a little bit more. But once you sense it down to your body, I don't think you're gonna notice them moving around all that much. So if you guys have any questions regarding the Jacked Rabbit Trainer Plate Set, if you guys have any questions about fitment and our plate carriers, different sizes, if I wasn't clear enough, or even fitment on other companies plate carriers, just go ahead and shoot us an email at [email protected].
