NEW: AC1's Gone Man, I'll Be Outside. 

For most of you, the AC1 needs no introduction. It was one of our first major nylon products, spurred on by the high demand for armor and, subsequently, plate carriers after the mostly peaceful summer of 2020.

Initially, the AC1 was meant to be a minimalist carrier that could scale to meet the user's needs. While the AC1 has served this role well over the last 4 years, we are always seeking improvement, so we went back to the drawing board and decided on a two-pronged approach to how we do plate carriers.

Goodbye AC1, welcome AC0 and AC1.5!

The AC0 is a simplified version of the AC1.5 tailored more towards a concealment role. The deleted Swift Clip/QASM loops and ID panels provide a slick appearance that better blends into everyday clothing, while the single-band 5" elastic cummerbund eliminates bulk and maintains comfort and stability.

This simplified construction also makes the AC0 a more economical option for those who may not want or need the features and capabilities of the 1.5. The AC0 uses our new MOLLE Row Placard Interface, making it compatible with our current and upcoming placards. This allows you to scale the AC0 up to meet your needs, even though it's a slick, low-vis-oriented carrier.

As everything was falling into place this morning, AC0's were finished in QC ahead of schedule. So, in a very on-brand last-minute pivot, we've decided not to keep you guys waiting. AC0s are now in stock and available for purchase!

For the AC1.5, we took the bones of the AC1 and tweaked and improved them based on customer feedback and some of the lessons we've learned along the way.

The 1.5 features angled shoulder straps for more long-term comfort, a new cummerbund design with pull tab compatibility, a tweave inner lining instead of spacer mesh, a dedicated wing flap, and our modern, less proprietary take on an old placard mounting system.

We are currently receiving the last few batches of 1.5s. Once they go through our internal QC, they will be available on November 13th. If you're interested, sign up for the waitlist!

We've also designed two new placards to accompany our new carriers. The Carbine Placard is a scalable three-cell placard with MOLLE rows and a loop field on the front that carries AR/M4 or AK platform magazines. While the MOLLE Placard is a simple laser-cut 6x6 MOLLE base on which you can build your kit to fit your needs.

These placards are compatible with standard Swift Clip/QASM/G-Hook attachment methods and our MOLLE Row Placard Interface, found on the new AC0 and AC1.5. These will come in a little later than AC1.5, towards the end of the year, so hop on the waitlist if you're interested!
