What we have here is the new T.REX ARMS Medical Pouch. So this is the Med-H. So the H can stand for two things, it can be for heavy or hanger. So if you guys are familiar with our first medical pouch, the Med-1, this is obviously quite a bit larger. So the original Med-1 has been one of our staple products. It is just belt mounted. And when you open it, you have some Velcro in there to make it customizable, and then you have a tray. So we wanted to design something a little bit more specific, a little bit more feature rich, and that's exactly what the Med-H is. So this is what it's gonna look like when you get it out of the packaging. Now this is going to come in all of our normal colorways, basically every colorway that our AC1 comes in, this should come in.
Now what you get out of the package is you're gonna get the pouch itself. When you open it, you're also going to have a waist strap in here. So this can be worn as a fanny pack, or this can be worn as a hanger on your plate carrier. So this can dangle from the front of your plate carrier, just like so, or you can use the buckles and the provided strap to wear it as a fanny pack.
So some of the features of this pouch that makes it a little unique, other than being able to be a hanger and a fanny pack, is that the spacing for the stuff that goes on the inside is very, very specific to what we designed this pouch for. So this is not exactly a customizable insert, you're not gonna be able to really fit too many different things on the inside, other than what it's intended for, although there's a little bit of room for that. But as you can see, this is fairly very specific.
What we have here is a Med-H that's already loaded up, so first thing we're gonna note is the stuff on the outside. So on the bottom of the pouch, we have a sleeve for our tourniquet. So just an elastic band that you can slide a tourniquet into and basically almost every tourniquet out there will fit in this. We do like the CAT Tourniquet, so kind of optimized for that. Now on the front, we have a sleeve here for trauma shears. So if you're into having shears on your pouch, you have that option. Or you can just take your shears out, we're gonna take the stuff out as we go, and you can untie the knots of this retaining band and this can just be slick. So next thing you're gonna notice is this little strap here. So this strap is a quick open system here. So the reason why this pouch is so big, a little bit so wide, is because if these pouches packed very, very tight, this quick tear open system does not work as well. So there needs to be a little bit of slack in the pouch for this tear open to work well. So if you're wearing this thing, it's a very, very easy tear open. It takes very minimal effort. And the reason why this Velcro's down is, this will help this from getting caught on something and tearing open accidentally.
So when you have the zippers zipped open or zip closed, sorry, you can secure the zippers underneath of this strap just like so, and that way this won't tear open accidentally. So on the inside, like I mentioned already, this is very, very specific to the stuff that's supposed to go in here. So we have two of our four inch rolled gauzes, one on each side. You're able to fit two forms of gauze, whether you want your hemostatic or just your standard gauze. You can do two of each or one of each. Our fill kit will come with of the expensive gauzes. You can do, you have your spot for your gloves and for your duct tape.
And then on the other side, we have all of our other stuff, obviously. So we have our NPA, we have two needle Ds. We have a Sharpie, and then we have our TCCC casualty card, or some people call this a 13E.
So the fill kit's gonna come with two pairs. So as you can see, this kit comes with quite a bit of stuff and can fit quite a bit of stuff. And there's also, thing to note here, is tie downs for your casualty card. Now, if you need to get this out and you don't want this tie down, these are expendable, just rip it off and you'll be good to go. So now the reason why, the other reason why there's extra space in this pouch is so you can add additional stuff in here. So if you want additional gauzes, you can just set them in here. If you want additional ACE bandages, you can just set them in there, you name it. There is extra volume in here to pluck this up even further, if you so wish.
So the question you might have is why this MED pouch over something that is much smaller like our med one? Now, there's a couple answers to that. So first thing is that this is not belt mountable. So again, this is just to hang off a plate carrier or to be worn as a fanny pack. So no belt pass through and no molle option here. And the other obvious answer is how much more equipment you can actually fit in this thing and what it's actually designed for. So this is definitely more of a slim minimalist medical pouch, comparatively to this, which is a full blog kit and that we believe has everything that you actually need in this kit.
So the feature we need to mention on this pouch is just the grommets on the bottom. So most nylon pouches nowadays will have two grommets for just drainage. So the other thing that this offers is you can do something like sling keepers or something like that to retain and turn and get even further if you, or if you just don't want to retain and turn and get by elastic bandage, you have that option as well. Now regarding how to use any of these stuff in here, we have product videos specifically to almost every product in this pouch.
So if you guys have any questions about this pouch, application purposes or how to set it up. If you're building out this, the stuff that's going in here yourself rather than buying our fill kit, any questions at all regarding this pouch, our nylon, even our Kydex, whatever we offer, any questions at all, go ahead and email us at team at [email protected].
