In our opinion, hybrid holsters always fell a little bit short when looking at the best way to carry a full-size, fully capable handgun. Though they are very comfortable, they tend to make a few compromises we’re not fans of. So, we set out to make the best hybrid-style holster to address those shortcomings. Here are a few things we wanted this holster to be:

Our T.REX Ironside Hybrid Holster design takes the superior functionality of a Kydex holster and combines it with an incredibly comfortable pad to give folks who want to carry inside-the-waistband at 4 o’clock a safe, high-quality hybrid-style holster option. The retention of the full Kydex shell allows you to run a weapon light, and it also means there is no possibility of the holster collapsing and accidentally snagging the trigger when you re-holster. (Both of these are problems other hybrid holsters can have.) And the soft, breathable, water-resistant Alcantara backer stays warm in the winter and cool in the summer, unlike leather and other leather-like materials.

Carrying a full-sized duty handgun should be for everyone. We hope this holster helps accomplish that.

• Fits suppressor height iron sights up to 0.5″ tall
• Hybrid Backer is constructed from Alcantara and Closed-Cell PE foam.
• Alcantara is a strong, low-maintenance material that is water and stain-resistant while providing a high-grip surface that is soft and breathable. Unlike leather or similar materials, Alcantara stays warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
