The Surefire Warcomp is our favorite 50/50 hybrid-style muzzle brake flash hider. An excellent combination of recoil mitigation and flash suppression. Not so blasty that it’s horrible to shoot in confined spaces or around buddies. Not so bright that you go “whoa”. It’s fully compatible with SOCOM RC2 suppressors and features 1/2 x 28″ threads for most AR-style rifles.

The Warcomp can be timed neutral (ports at 12 o’clock) or to the left or right of the weapon for maximum recoil mitigation.

The Warcomp is also a very useful muzzle device to pin to 14.5 barrels with a length of: 2.67″. This brings the overall length of the gun to 16.1″.

The Warcomp’s patent-pending design has three valuable functions:

1. It provides over 99% reduction in muzzle flash compared to a plain muzzle, which helps  conceal the shooter’s location and preserve his dark-adapted vision.

2. It virtually eliminates muzzle rise, which enhances monitoring of target reaction and staying on target for faster follow-up shots.

3. It serves as a rock-solid mounting adapter for all Surefire SOCOM Series 5.56 suppressors, including Surefire’s SOCOM556-RC model, which placed first in the most extensive and rigorous suppressor testing ever conducted by US Special Operations Command. Precision machined from US Mill-certified heat-treated stainless steel bar stock — including high-precision single-point cut threads for optimum thread interface — the Warcomp features an Ionbond DLC coating to provide maximum protection under harsh environmental conditions and facilitate cleaning after extreme use. When used in conjunction with a Surefire SOCOM suppressor, the Warcomp provides multiple bearing surfaces to ensure superior suppressor alignment and prevent any ringing of tines inside the suppressor. A rear labyrinth seal mitigates gas leaking from the back of a suppressor, minimizes potential carbon buildup in the indexing system, and facilitates suppressor removal after extended firing. Every Surefire Warcomp is individually inspected for concentricity and alignment. For rock-solid mounting of a SOCOM Series suppressor, unparalleled flash reduction, and minimized muzzle rise, there’s literally nothing like a Surefire Warcomp — the world’s most shootable flash hider.

The Warcomp is nice enough to run on short guns like this 10.3

NOTE: SureFire SOCOM Series Fast-Attach sound suppressors and current-model Warcomps, muzzle brakes, and flash hider adapters are NOT compatible with previous (non-SOCOM) SureFire Fast-Attach sound suppressors, muzzle brakes, or flash hiders.
