Nightforce NX8 1-8x24mm F1 Capped

The Nightforce NX8 1-8 is a compact, lightweight LPVO that balances form factor and cost while maintaining the durability Nightforce is known for. It features a 30mm main tube, first focal plane construction (F1), and daylight-bright illumination. This specific capped model also uses a capped elevation turret instead of Nightforce's ZeroStop turret, which allows for a little more durability and security over the exposed turret models.

Like the ATACR 1-8, the NX8 1-8 comes with the FC-DMx reticle, a recent update from the old FC-DM reticle found in older NF 1-8s. The DMx reticle slims down on some of the bulk of the older DM reticle and has a more open center and a simplified tree, allowing a better view of targets while offering quick holds for wind and elevation. Unlike most LPVO reticles, the FC-DMx is a mil-based reticle instead of a BDC, allowing for greater adaptability between numerous platforms, calibers, and barrel lengths while offering the opportunity to use speed drop and mil-based ranging techniques.
