LAW Folder AR/M4 Gen-S
Overview
The LAW Folder Gen-S is a slimmer, lighter version of the Gen 3-M folder that everyone knows and loves, now 12.5% lighter and made from a more corrosion-resistant 17-4 Stainless Steel.
The Gen-S features a lowered hinge position and a much slimmer profile overall, especially around the hinge, where the Gen 3-M was pretty bulky. Among the other upgrades, the locking lug, latch, and threaded flange are much stronger than the 3-M, and all hardware and springs are made from stainless steel, for even more corrosion resistance.

FAQ
Will this effect what buffer weight I use?
Yes, it can, because the Bolt Carrier Extension adds 2 oz to the reciprocating weight. This generally isn't an issue on most 5.56 guns, since there is enough operating room and/or room to go down in buffer weight.
However, when using 300 Blackout subsonics, there can be some problems, depending on how conservatively your barrel is gassed. We highly recommend using something like the KAK Lightweight Bolt Carrier Extension instead of trying to reduce buffer weight below standard carbine (3 oz) or reducing spring weight below a standard M4 spring.
A common setup we have used on our BCM 9" 300 Blackout uppers is as follows.

- 3oz Standard Carbine Buffer (Not H/H1)
