You get what you pay for, especially when it comes to rifles. While there is a point of diminishing returns, BCM does an excellent job of balancing price, performance, quality, and reliability. The enhanced MK2 upper receiver features a relocated forward assist and unmatched rigidity. Pair this with the BHF barrel and the legitimately Mil-Spec bolt carrier group, and you have a solid performer that can keep up with whatever you throw at it. This receiver group features BCM’s MCMR handguards that are well-proven for being strong, lightweight, and rigid, making these uppers ready for IR lasers right out of the box without worrying about rail shift. Lastly, an often skipped-over feature is BCM’s thermal fit tolerances on both the handguard and barrel extension. This not only provides superior fit and finish but also increases service life and overall consistency.
