BCM AR-15 Handguard
Overview
BCM Handguards have long been one of our go-to's in the armory because they offer a strong, stable platform for lasers and other accessories while staying relatively light. The steel KMR barrel nut and clamping system provides a secure lockup and allows the end user to swap rail systems without removing the barrel nut, which can benefit those of us who can't seem to leave anything alone. As with other BCM products, these handguards feature thermal fit tolerances, limiting rail flex and further increasing rigidity.
The MCMR is a slim, lightweight rail that features M-LOK attachment points along the length of the rail. These handguards are well known for their excellent balance of rigidity, overall weight, and form factor.
The QRF and RAIDER rails are built using the same double-wall extrusion, prioritizing strength and rigidity over weight savings and form factor. While the QRF is heavier than the MCMR and slightly heavier than the RAIDER, it is relatively light compared to other quad rails on the market, making it an excellent choice for the quad rail enthusiasts among us.
