TM 9-2350-304-rc FIRE CONTROL ALINEMENT TEST AND MEASUREMENTS Fire control alinement tests (pages 2-70 thru 2-91 ) are performed by the section crew memOeri ,nO"i tfre supervision oi t-he battery executive office, chief of firing battery, and artillery mechanic. These iests are performed at the discretion of the unit commander. Suggested times for these tests are: o Once each year if the piece is used for non-firing training. o Once every 3 months if the piece is fired. r As soon as possible after extensive use. r Following accidents. o Traversing extremely rough terrain. o When fire control mounts have been replaced' o Whenever the piece fires inaccurately for no apparent reason. PARATION FOR FIRE CONTBOT ALINEMENT TESTS Move weapon to as firm and level ground as possible. Use hardstand, if available.
