Section Il. OPERATION @ 2-3. Blank Ammunition Firing Attachment M13 The blank ammunition firing attachment is used only during training. It is listed in appendix B and requisitioned for instructional purposes. When attached to the weapon (fig. 2-1), make sure the orifice tube is fully seated against the muzzle, that projection on left side is inserted in slot of right side behind the front right post and is secured by the wingnut. Caution: Live ammunition must NOT be used in the machine gun while the firing attachment is installed.
