The United States. Army Engineer School developed this publication with the joint participation of the approving Service commands. The design of new structures and facilities is based on the results obtained from the methods and procedures in UFC 3-220-10N. The test procedures and terminology used in this manual conform to the latest methods and specifications of the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM), the American Concrete Institute, and the Portland Cement Association. ASTM source publications are not required for the testing specified in this document as the procedure is fully explained for military personnel use.
