Description (fig. 2) The components of the AN/TRC-80B are in- stalled in a weatherproof shelter that is divided into three main areas, the operating compart- ment, the engine-generator compartment, and the antenna storage compartment space. The radio, telephone terminal and operating equip- ments are rack mounted in five standard 19- inch relay racks along the side and rear walls of the operating compartment. Two of the racks and the klystron drawer of the power amplifier cabinet are equipped with blowers to provide the required forced-air cooling.
