Section I. GENERAL 1. Scope This technical manual contains information on operation, theory, repair, and maintenance of Code Training Set AN/GSC-TIA. The manual also contains information and procedure for repacking the equipment for shipment or limited storage, and for demolishing the equipment to prevent enemy use. An index is also included. The common name of the subject equipment used throughout this manual is code training set. 2. Forms and Records The forms listed below will be used for reporting unsatisfactory conditions of Army equipment, and in performing preventive mainte- nance. a. DD Form 6, Report of Damaged or Improper Shipment, will be filled out and forwarded as prescribed in SR 745-45-5 (Army), Navy Shipping Guide, Article 1850-4 (Navy), and AFR 71-4 (Air Force). b.
