Section GENERAL 1. Scope a. This technical manual contains a descrip- tion of Control Unit C-292(*)/TRA-7 (fig. 1) and its operating controls, a chapter on theory of operation, and instructions for field maintenance and repair of the equipment. In addition, this manual includes two appendixes covering a list of references and an identifica- tion table of parts. b. Since the control unit normally is in- stalled in one of several different systems, in- stallation and operation instructions are omitted from this manual and are included in the technical manuals covering the particular system. Specialized organizational mainte- nance information, such as techniques for isolating trouble to the particular system unit, are also omitted from this manual and included in the various systems manuals. c.
