Summary of Changes • All changes are consistent with Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC) and Training and Education Command (TECOM) direction and guidance following the 30 July 2020 Assault Amphibious Vehicle (AAV) mishap to ensure consistency across assault amphibian community publications. • Principal changes conform to subsequent updates of guiding documents concerning AAV operations or divestment of legacy structure and systems. Major content revisions include: Title change to Employment of Assault Amphibious Vehicles per TECOM approved terminology change to AAV.
