and Philosophy Marine air intelligence is the combination of all-source intelligence, training, personnel, and techniques that assesses the weather, adversary, and terrain impacts to the air domain. While the primary customer of air intelligence support is the aviation combat element (ACE) of the Marine air ground task force (MAGTF), Marine air intelligence is not limited to supporting Marine aviation. Marine air intelligence can also support the MAGTF's command element (CE), ground combat element (GCE), and logistics combat element (LCE) in assessing and analyzing threats that reside within the air domain. This includes providing air intelligence expertise to CE, GCE, and LCE with respect to the impacts adversary air or air defense forces may have on their forces.
