1—1. Purpose and Scope This manual is intended primarily for you, the medical aidman in the field. It tells you what to do with the supplies and equipment that you ean carry and can use without hot or running water or electrical power, It also tells you how to protect yourself and your patients. The first eight chapters of this manuaj deal primarily with trauma: injuries and wounds, The last nine chapters of the manual deal essentially with medical diseases.
