The above referenced manuals cover the concepts of employment and effectiveness of non- nuclear field artillery weapon systems. FM 6- 141-2 contains classified data on the comparative effects of selected and high explosive ammunition with the 105mm howitzer, 155mm howitzer, 8- inch.howitzer, 175mm gun, and 107mm (4.2-inch) mortar. A discussion of chemical ammunition for the 105mm howitzer, 155mm howitzer, 8-inch howitzer, 107mm (4.2-inch) mortar, and Honest John Rocket is contained in chapters 3 of this manual and FM 6-141-2! Detailed material concerning high explosive and selected am- munition is presented in chapter 4. The characteristics and effectiveness data of cahhon weapons systems are discussed in detail in chapters 5 of these two manuals according to degree classification.
