OSE, PERSOBVSIVÏiL, AND STRUCTURE 3 The transportation aircraft maintenance intermediate support company is designed to provide intermediate support for all Army aircraft. Nondivisional AVIM units are organized under Table of Organization and Equipment (TOE) 55-459H. They may be augmented in a variety of ways, depending on the unit's individual mission. Divisional AVIM units are aircraft maintenance companies organic to the armor, mechanized, airborne, and infantry divisions and the aircraft maintenance battalion of the airmobile division. They perform intermediate level aircraft maintenance functions (this explains the term "divisional" AVIM).
