FM 55-250 CHAPTER 2 GENERAL SAFETY AND SECURITY MATTERS WARNING ‘The Nike-Hercules warhead section is not to be jottisoned under any circumstances. 2-1. Warnings ‘The following warnings will be observed by personnel performing operations, procedures, and practices that are included or implied in this manual. Disregard for theso warnings could result m personal injury or loss of life. Prior to each nuclear cargo mission, the helicopter commander will be familiar with provisions of AR 50-5 and AR 95-27 and insure compliance therewith. In addition, the commander will become familiar with the security, safety, and technical peculiarities of the cargo that may affect air transport. Flight plans will include provisions for avoiding built-up end heavily populated areas.
