An understanding of the con- cepts and discussions herein will assist in adap- tation to the more technical language of FM 32- 20, Electronic Warfare. 1-2. Scope a. The doctrine in this test manual encompas- ses those principles and policies that have been derived from the study of experience, realistic simulations, and military judgment. Application of this doctrine requires judgment to adapt to the peculiarities of the situation, since textbook conditions will rarely exist.
