1. Purpose and Scope a. This manual provides information for the effective utilization of the Quartermaster Petroleum Depot Company (TOE 10-377). It is a guide for officers and enlisted personnel of the company and for other persons concerned with the employment and operation of the company. b. The manual covers the mission, organization, employment, operations, and administration of the company, its operating platoons, and sections. Appendixes contain a list of references, petroleum conversion equations and formulas, and capacities of pipelines and pump stations. 2. Application a. Procedures described in this manual reflect policies current at the time of preparation. They are intended to be used as guides and must not be regarded as an inflexible set of rules.
