ATP 3-57.60 details the doctrinal discussion of the role of CA forces supporting Army and joint operational planning that resides in FM 3-57. Publication of ATP 3-57.60 incorporates revisions to the Army's running estimate and operation plan (OPLAN) formats. Support of operational planning by CA forces occurs at all levels of warfare. U.S. forces' integration, coordination and synchronization with the civil component of the operational environment is required throughout the competition continuum and across the range of military operations.
