The ACOG/RDS combo is a favorite for our 5.56 rifles. It works well for short- to medium-range engagements, offering plenty of speed up close and magnification for longer shots without needing to operate a throw lever like you would on a traditional LPVO. This TA31/Trijicon RCR combo comes assembled and ready to go out of the box, offering a durable and convenient optic setup that just needs mounting and zeroing.
Typically, we recommend these setups for night vision use; however, due to the size of the RCR and the TA31’s rear-mount location, this setup isn’t the most effective for that purpose.
If NV capability is important to you, we recommend the LED model (TA02) that offers a front-mount location. This combo is still a great option for an ACOG/RDS combo outside of the Night Vision use case.

- Offers the same housing shape as the RMR now in a closed emitter version. It still diverts the force of an impact away from the lens, greatly increasing drop survivability and one-handed slide manipulation.
