Whether you’re working on your pistol fundamentals or need some long-range targets for your scoped carbine or bolt gun, it’s hard to beat the versatility and affordability of a gong target. These TA Targets AR500 Gongs come in several shapes and sizes to fit your needs and work well for a number of applications without breaking the bank.
These targets can be mounted with any of TA Target’s single-hole mounts, but if you’re trying to save some coin, you can always get creative with your own mounting solution. Just make sure the targets are allowed some free movement and get to shooting.

- Mounting holes fit 1/2 inch carriage bolts (use only one at a time)
- 3/8″ AR500 steel construction
- While compatible, the Postcard 3×6 and 4″ Square Gongs are not recommended with the single-hole 2×4 mount due to their size.
- Rated for the following:
- Pistols: 10+ yards
- Magnum pistols: 25+ yards
- .223/5.56 NATO (3,000 FPS or less): 100+ yards
- .308 Win (and similar):100+ yards
- Magnum rifles: 200+ yards minimum.
Distance ratings are based on your rifle firing a projectile at 3,000 FPS or less at the muzzle. Additionally, for every 100 FPS over 3,000, You must add 25 yards at minimum.
