Anyone who has had to fool around with chronographs before knows they are usually finicky, time-consuming to set up, and aren’t the most reliable tools in the world. Garmin has effectively put an end to that with the Xero C1 Pro. Simply set this small, easily packable device at the prescribed distance from your muzzle, orient it towards your target, and shoot. On top of its incredibly convenient setup and accurate data, the Xero also features a 6-hour/2000-shot battery life, USB-C rechargeability, a sunlight-visible backlit display, an IPX7 water resistance rating, and Garmin ShotView App compatibility.
The Xero C2, introduced in early 2026, can now record up to 10 shots per second and offers an improved user interface over the C1 PRO, as well as enhanced app connectivity for viewing live data on a compatible Garmin smartwatch. Among those other upgrades, the C2 is officially rated for rifle recoil, allowing you to mount it directly to a rifle while also making it less sensitive to concussive muzzle devices.
