It replaces the factory Nalgene lid and provides you a smaller opening to drink out. It also gives you a spot to stow the cap so it doesn’t constantly hit you in the face when taking a drink. The capCAP+ does a good job at converting your basic Nalgene into a nice bottle that can be used for your every day hydration needs.
