In addition to our plastic clip offering that currently comes on our holster lines, we are now offering a metal clip version. Now what this metal clip gives you is actually a little bit lower profile. So if your plastic clips kind of print on you, kind of print through your shirt, these are gonna be a lot lower pro and you're not gonna see them. They're gonna hug your belt a little bit more. The current metal clips that are on the market have like this really, really aggressive claw on the backside of it. And that's for either designed for just maintaining a lot of security onto your belt or even gripping through clothes.

This metal clip is not designed for that. So it is not designed for attaching to clothes. It's actually designed for the belt specifically. So that way we have a much softer kind of swoop in there. So it's easier to take on and off of your belt in general. When you're ordering from our website, there will be an option to choose whether you want your plastic clips or the metal clips to come pre-installed by us for your Sidecar and your Raptor series holsters. Additionally, we're going to have the opportunity for you to buy these separately so all of our legacy holsters will accommodate those too.

One thing to note when you're buying these separately or to install on a holster that you currently have is to make sure to use the provided screws that we include in the packaging because the thicknesses of the plastic and the metal clip is pretty drastic that if you use the screws that are currently used on your plastic clips they're going to actually protrude past the posts and potentially run into your gun. So make sure to use the short screws when it comes to that and you everything will be good.

You purchase these separately, like I said, make sure to use the smaller screws. It's a very simple install. You're going to unscrew and remove the old clips. And you can install the new metal ones with these shorter screws. Now something we built in with these metal clips instead of the plastic clips is actually a slot. So you can actually angle this clip 10 degrees, plus minus in any direction. So that if you're running a Sidecar or a Raptor, you can have the ability to kind of angle it to have a better draw and access the grip of your handle a little bit better.

So this is how you install it on a light bearing holster. If you're installing this on a non-light holster, you're gonna have a lot longer screws to play with because of the extra washer that's underneath those clips. Don't worry about that. We'll install shorter screws that you're not gonna protrude past those. So if you have any more questions about that, email us at [email protected].
