If you’re running a quality optic, you need a quality mount. When we think quality, Geissele immediately comes to mind. The Super Precision series of scope mounts are optimized for use with an AR-15/M4 upper. The mounting surface spans 7 picatinny sections and utilizes 4 shear lugs. These mounts use Geissele’s update of the classic nut and bolt method for clamping the mount to the picatinny rail, which is the most secure method of attaching your scope to your weapon. Each nut and bolt combination provides 1,400 pounds of clamping force, much more than any lever mounting arrangement.
The Geissele Super Precision Mounts are made from 7075-T6 High Strength Aluminum. To create a mount with the best possible return to zero, Geissele machines the entire mount from a single piece of billet aluminum.
How do I know whether to get standard/extended/hyper extended?
It all comes down to the eye relief on your optic, and how much you like collapsing your buttstock. If you run your stock all the way out, standard/extended is good. If you like collapsing your stock in a lot, hyper extended and extended is a good idea. If you have an optic with a close eye relief, then run standard. If you have a LPVO like the Vudu, extended or hyper extended.
Do you offer this mount in 0MOA or 20MOA?
Currently, we only offer the 0MOA version of this scope mount. Generally, depending on rifle, ammo and scope used, the 0MOA scope mount is well within its limit up to approximately 600 yards. For those individuals shooting at distances 600 yards and greater, the 20MOA scope mount allows a shooter to make use of 20MOA more adjustment in elevation.
